This looks like it was an amazing event and I don't think I have seen this much buzz on the forum.................EVER :D

It's a credit to both of ye for all the work you put in and it paid off ten times over by the looks of it. You promised an all inclusive, fun event that everyone would love and you clearly delivered. Well done Ben & Dave on what looks like a super event (y)

From all of the previous posts I reckon you'll have to do more than one a year now boys to satisfy all the new adrenalin junkies you've created :p

Firstly I have to say hats off to Ben and Dave! That was the absolute best day out EVER! You guys are legends and made so so many people happy.. (even if you did create alot of new addicts!! :p)

I went hoping for 20 seconds, and was so chuffed to manage a best time of 18.39!!

The only problem now, is I HAVE to get sub 18... Its so close I can smell it!! :D

this splitty was the business.

I always thought that drag racing was an exclusive sport for the Mega Bucks guys who trailered race cars behind their Big Campers.

Little did i know that you just need a 40 year old beetle running on standard tyres. Sunday wasn't just a drag day.
It was a cruise and a car show and a swap meet and an Eircooled Express delivery and collection point, amongst other things.
It was also a great opportunity to put a face to the many Eircooled names too. It was a blast and Great Craic too.

It was clear from the word GO, that there was a mega effort put into organising the whole weekend. And it really showed.

Well done boys. THANK YOU!

We 'may' have gotten away with the burst oil pipe on the bug. Stripped the ancillarys and pulled the plugs this morning. We have good oil pressure with no nasty sounds. God knows what the inside looks like though.

My apologies for the car throwing up on the track guys and gals, but at least it happened late on in the day..

I came up to newlands cross and got stopped at the red light. I was revving the car waiting on green and nearly rear ended the car in front of me when it didn't take off quick enough. A few fucks and blinds later I was out around them!!! Think I might have a problem!

ha, felt myself staring intently at the traffic lights on the way into work this morning too - luckily I was at the head of the queue as I dropped the clutch hard when the green came on :ROFLMAO:

Well, well, well! That was fuckin ridiculously awesome!!!!! Can't agree more with everyone has said above! Fair play for organising guys, truly epic day. Also fair play to all the heads that travelled massive distances, I was wrecked today, and I only had a 2 hour drive home.

Best was 20.228, which really was my best as I got exact same time twice, just couldn't beat the 20. 58Panel....am with ya, gotta beat these times! We'll have to join up with some watercoolers, cuz there's no way I can wait a whole to do that again!

Some buzz, my left leg was hoppin with nerves/excitement for the first run, literally had to hold my leg at one stage. Still buzzin from it to be fair, feels like I nailed a load of disco biscuits!

Thanks again everyone involved!! UNREAL CRAIC!

Anyone any pics of the milk float at all on the track, filled her up in Lusk last night, petrol everywhere underneath, new fuel lines for tomorrow.
All the same it didn't miss a beat on its 720mile trip between Saturday & Sunday.
Think it cost close to 200 yoyo's on juice, mind you we could have been losing a lot along the way.
