BTW, that top pic can be used in evidence as clearly shows Colin standing this side of the lights as his car left a full quarter mile (give or take 60ft) of tranny oil behind it. :ROFLMAO: :p

What sort of card is it?
Was it formatted by mistake? if it was i should be able to retrieve them for you Justin.

Integral Ultima SD. It's not just corrupt/deleted/formatted data, I suspect it's hardware failure. Going to check it out fully under Linux before opening the casing up. Cheers.

Good to meet you at last BTW. ;)

Haha, What a pic! There was me standing, looking up the strip thinking 'oh look, someones engine has shit itself' Then Donal Dollery confirms that 'yes, that is your car'.

Brian it never dawned on me ya didn't run, you were more than welcome to give mine a rip. 998mick the same. I did offer it to Johnny but the pussy was afraid of breaking it!!!!!!!!!! I tried me best to break it and failed miserably. I drove the heart out of the car up the strip and she sailed 3 and half hours home happy as a clam!!!!

Guys, just a brief reply for now, there are tons and tons of people to thank, but ill wait till the dust settles a bit and when my head is a touch clearer, straight back to porridge today so youll have to forgive me.

You were amazing, Eircooled as a club should be so proud of themselves, you all stepped up, above and beyond in fact, facebook has been going nuts today and ive been getting messages from friends across the water with pics and videos theyve found uploaded by some of you guys and others, amazing work, ALL of you deserve a massive pat on the back.

And a special quick thank you goes out to sam (lorcans mrs) for making sure i had a drink on the go (non alcoholic) all day, she was superb.

So like i said, ill get on with a better report soon, but for now ill just sit back and enjoy the pics, videos and stories from the day.

cheers
Ben

As most of you know my bug shit itself on the way up on the m1 so I had to abandon it at j12,I am absolutely gutted not to have ran it on the quarter, but these things happen..
Anyway I really want to give a huge thank you to a few guys on here.firstly to Graham for stopping on the M1 and giving me a lift.I had never met Graham before so the sight of some looney dancing, waving and jumping up and down on the side of the motorway at 7.30 on a sunday morning would make many a person put the boot down..:)It was col to ride in such a beautiful splitty.
Thanks then to Paul(stump)who offered me a lift in the jap bug from the services to Bishopscourt.A nice scenic drive on a beautiful sunday morning with the bugs aircon keeping us cool..
Thanks to Trev who brought me the whole way home to my door despite nearly killing us both just outside Termonfeckin.Enjoye the trip home in the golf. That thing really can move.
Thumbs up to Davey(Duts),Mikey, and the other racer who all offered their bugs to me for a razz up the track.I really wanted to but one fucked engine is enough for anyone any given sunday so didn't want to take any chances.Cheers lads.
Finally thanks to the one and only Pete for picking up the car nd dropped it to my place todayCheers buddy.
As for the plans for the car lets just say after what I seen and loved yesterday the bodywork isn't as important anymore.Gonna clean it up lighten the fuck out of it and build a half decent motor for it..
Ben and Dave you have me addicted and I didn't even get a run..Fuckin ace..:)
