I just scored a pair of 6"slicks and am getting a built I.R.S. trans with close ratio gears and a super diff for the race car over there. Things are coming together.

Britt, you are a madman, poor old shane has gone from tacking a shitbox together to building a full on doorslammer, with what you are shipping over, and if what shane has told me is right r.e horsepower and numbers, i think you might need a little more seat time than just a 7hr drag day, lol finger out shane!!!!!
Yes Ben, I'll certainly be sleeping at the lights the first few passes. The engine builder egged me on saying if it's gonna be a drag motor make it a BIG drag motor. He had the stroker crank and does his own case clearance'ing so I just traded a few more bits and we arrived at a good deal for both of us. I said that you and Dave had over 200 hp and that was the target.. just to egg him on . Next year the Bonneville engine will be available so it will come over also.

Next year the Bonneville engine will be available so it will come over also.I am currently being bombarded with watercooled entry requests, those of you who haven't yet booked their spot need to get onto it, or at the very minimum tell me you will be coming, via a message/phonecall/carrier pigeon etc because if you dont and i cant fill those allocated spaces with aircooled then i will let them go to those who want to race regardless of whether they are air or water cooled. I know we are 3 months away but at least tell me you want to race if you havnt allready done so as i do not want to start filling spots that could otherwise be taken by aircooled vehicles, i dont want people bitching and moaning at me becuse they either left it too late or at the very least didnt bother to let me know that they wanted to take part.
