13 cars ain't bad, but have to agree, would be delighted if we could make this an annual thing. It's such a great cause and if all we have to do is turn up to make a difference, its a pretty easy thing for us to do. I suppose next year we'll know more in advance so can get an even better turn out. Looking forward to it :)

Would it even be something that could be done more often than once a year?

Good luck to all participating this evening, have a great time.

I agree.. I was hoping to go to this, but just can't today.. Its a fantastic cause, and if it was any other day I would have been there... I'm sure there are plenty more in the same boat..

Just back home now...great turn-out and good evenings entertainment. Man those kids were awesome and the craic was great just spinning around the grounds dropping them off at the Time Warp Disco Night! Such a simple thing we did and the difference it makes. As for the staff/volunteers/Helpers...they are just as HYPER as the kids and full of enthusiasm...they really make the place what it is...a FUN place!

Glad I made the trip now. :cooool:

took 2 hours to get down through rush hour traffic but it was well worth the journey. Arrive at 6.59 and we departed at 7.00!
The idea was to take the kids, some of them are terminally ill, for a spin around the grounds of the castle/ house.

Turns out we were the big kids......

My sincere apologies for not making
this I had fully planned on attending, but my sister went into early labour and as a result I am now the proud uncle of this beautiful little girlimage.jpg

Have to say it was a brilliant way to spend an evening, I think we got more of a buzz out of it than the kids. As knk said the kids and the leaders were fantastic and it is something I really hope we get to do again.
