i rang them yesterday the guy said he`d had hundreds of calls . the engine is complete from what he told me , but the exhaust was damaged . carbs and manifolds alone are worth almost a grand

As mentioned you can take me down for the steering wheel, horn ring and button, pedal box and ashtray for €600 (as the maximum to get to the referenced max offer). If taillight and semaphores are there I would be interested in those (first refusal).

Can we put up a list of who's got dibs on what bits so far and the break down of money, maybe on a percentage basis? I'd take the running boards and wipers for definite. I'd be interested in the engine if its all there and the money is right

Not really but as I said earlier, I'm not screaming for another project but if I could get a real bargain I'd go for it. I'd love to get the body incl panels, etc for €1k max but if it's without ashtray semaphores and a few other hard to get bits etc then I'll leave it to you as you would probably make more use of the bits for your cabrio.
