Thats a nice car and a real shame. I'd say theres plenty of people watching that auction and it might go for quite a bit more in the last few hours. Theres threads on most of the big forums about the auction. Its the same year as my car and I'd be tempted to bid on it myself but I'm cleared out:( Lets hope someone off here gets a bargain though...

i rang the seller earlier he cut out the id section of the pan and is selling the lot. only 3 burners though one must have been damaged in the crash . carbs are included too

still a bargain at that i`ve a feeling it`ll go a fair bit higher...... hope i`m wrong

What I'd be interested in would require taking a grinder to the bodyshell and it looks too good for that

Edit - Actually looking closer at the pics even the bits of the shell I'd be after (front and rear clips) are damaged/non existent. I'd take the wipers, running boards and exterior trim

I have an oval that needs lovin but otherwise I'd be bidding for the body. I'm looking at another toy and a big engine for the GT so funds are allocated.

i`m not too fussed on the engine if you fancy a cheap 1776

I'm going for a BIG engine :w00t:
I'd still be interested in the body if the price was right but not having the time to check it out is a bit of pain. Wonder how badly it's damaged up close?

So could we be serious about this?
If so we figure who wants what. and what % there willing to pay for it
What the max bid would be..
Also need to figure cost of 1-2 people to collect it
where does it go to be butchered?
