I sold three beetles last year and only ever drove one of them, new bus sitting in a warehouse in England and I've got the samba open looking for a Porsche.

Drugs are easier to handle. ;)

it doesn`t need butchering he already removed the id section of the pan and is letting the rest go . he even said he`d prefer it to go out of uk .
i can collect no problem i reckon the tran**** is good for manchester fo sho ; )

lets get this worked out people think a maxium bid is a good place to start then if we win it we can sort the rest out

I'd say, judging by the UK forums that this will be bought by somebody over there. I don't see it working for us unfortunately as I reckon the price will go up close to the end making it a tad expensive for us when you take into account the cost of sending you over to collect!
The guy on Restowagen is so confident that he's going to get it that he is huntin for a 56 chassis already!

if we can get 3 or 4 people willing to go for it then i think the advantage lies with us

ok i`m willing to pay 1500 euro for the wheels , the beam and brakes , and the gearbox and i`m willing to collect it

never liked sydney anyway ; ) some opportunities are just too good to pass up on i`ll just have to come up with some more moola before i go is all anyone want to buy a 4 inch narrowed beam spindles and full set of oval brakes and a sweet early 60`s box with 60k on the clock for example ?

does that include all the panels ? that leaves the 1776 with webbers , nice interior , rhd pedals , rhd pan , glass and trim and not a lot else but these bits alone have to be worth more than 2k if you were to buy them

I'd want the wings, doors, glass, switches, speedo etc. I'm not gaggin for another oval but if this was possible I'd be in.
Does anyone else want / need any bits from this car?

i think £2750 might be enough to steal it so we`re short 1500 euro that`s peanuts for the motor , carbs , rhd pedals and pan , and the full interior

Okay, just the horn ring and button so for €249 ;) also interested in the pedalbox (€175) and taillights if cheap. Also Ashtray. Alternatively I better Coxy's bid for the parts he wants as I think he's a bit cheecky with such a long wishlist for just €1000 ;)
