Jusk a quick reminder, anybody else looking for rooms the last date is 11.12.09. I also need to know a rough idea of how many just plan on attending the AGM so please put your name down with "not staying over".

I'm sure anyone is welcome to book but i doubt you would get the price Dermot sorted for us......

On checking they have rooms available for 49 euro on that night no breakfast but thats 9.50 each

That's the problem. Hotels dump rooms online if they think they will be quiet but that rate may fluctuate between now and the 2nd Jan. There may also be T&C's attached to the €49 rate such as no cancellation, full payment in advance.
Dermot's is an agreed rate so won't go up and I'm sure it's a pay on departure agreement.

yea, so its €34:50 B&B per person per night if sharing a double/twin room. I had to put pressure on her to give me a decient room rate (it was like buying a second-hand car). i had to tell her i was looking else where twice, knowing that she would come back with a better offer.

€69 for B&B for two people

Are the hotel saying you can't book after this Friday? That seems a bit odd considering it's not until the 2nd Jan.

I'm just curious as to what he has been told as we are dealing with hotels every day in our company.

What i have been told is we can try and book rooms after that date but they cannot guarantee availability or price.
Supply and demand i guess!
it would make it easier if people were able to tell me before friday but if after that time people do want a room pm me and ill talk to them
