Guys, at luch time on the stillorgan dual carriageway my clutch cable snapped, so no beetle for the car meet, but can anyone suggest a garage or anything close to me in Cabinteely that can do my clutch cable? By the way, the fast lane on the stillorgan dual carriageway is the most fun place ever to break down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, this is the best birthday ever. Thanks guys. And I might learn a thing or 2 while your workin on the beetle! Now, I dont have a garage, I normally use a cover for the bug so it's in my drive with shitty lighting, if any. So I'll try and organise some form of lighting for you guys I really really appreciate this Brian and Cathal!

So question, what do people like in their sandwiches, hehehehe!

Are we fitting the clutch cable before Stillorgan.Or do we meet first and drive en masse to do it. I can bring a trolley jack with me if required.

I did find a serial number inside them, but I'm not sure if it is the porsche serial number I'm mean't to find so by summer I'll do my proper research and find out if there genuine or repro's just for my own curiosity!
