On the way home this evening our mini convoy was stopped at a PSNI checkpoint between Downpatrick & Newry, officer said 'I'm guessing you had fun today', My reply 'yes'. He said 'i expected that response, everyone that has passed through here this evening with one of those things had a smile on their face' ...... great day out, well done to the organisers.

thanks to everyone who pushed my beetle to start it today. A weak battery meant it wouldn't start on the key. I can't remember exactly who pushed me and how many times but there had to have been at least a dozen of ye involved over the day!

Thanks again guys :)

What a brilliant weekend, busting hangover, screaming engines, head burnt to a crisp, 6 and a half hr drive back to cork, totally shattered and wouldn't have it any other way :) some mental bits of kit there too, hats off to all the eircooled team who flew the flag, great performances by all, thanks to caddy, Ben and all of the team who again layed on a tremendous race day, stewards and medical team big thanks as well, thankfully everyone went home in one piece, just in the door so I'm off to bed. Laters.

Trev it was a pleasure meeting yourself and Duts. I only gave ye a wee shove once. Good job Duts was on hand to make sure ye put the one plug lead on the right.

I had a great day and it was great to see so many friends and massive respect to Pancho for his killer runs! Thanks to Stevie Hall for the use of the Tetnus and I feel gutted that the drag engine crapped itself without making 1 decent pass , next year I promise that I will be better prepared, I feel like I let the team down this year. Can't thank Dave and Ben enough for all of the behind the scenes work to pull off this great event.

Massive thanks to Ben, Dave and all the organisers/ standby crew. Had a fantastic day with an absolute assault on the senses... Went up with mate Ois on board and made to feel at ease with all the helpful tips and pointers on the day - like, Ois "get your finger out on your RT's, were you fu*king day dreaming!?" Ben " Feed from handbrake, easy off the lights and the car will take over, you don't want to break it" and Pat Best " floor the fu*king thing Darren, it's all or nothing!" :) Joking aside valuable advice from all and what makes it such a great event.
Drove home wondering why I needed the other 3 seat, rear bumper, passenger wing mirror, door cards.....................................

Oh fu*k!!!!! :)
