I'd be up for this for sure. :)

No need to hire any entertainment...Ross (Airhead) could always keep us amused for a while! :)

Great idea Jon... I'll have to start working on breaking a Halloween family tradition though.... I'll be there whatever it takes.

super idea, I was just talking to a chap there on Monday about how little there is to do over the winter season. I'd be well up for it. Plus it would be nice to only travel 30 mins to a show/meetup for a change!

Indoors is a bonus too as it'll probably be pissing that time of year.

For once trev I can beat that, the venue is about 100ft from my front door..Perfect

So we are looking at a swap meet on the Sunday along with a show and shine, The venue is booked from Sat Oct 30th 2.30pm and all day Sunday Oct 31st. Are we interested in a Halloween party on Saturday night or just have the whole thing on a Sunday. Any thoughts... A band is a good idea, great sugestion Road cow, what do you guys want from this, after all this could happen every year as an Eircooled event if you like. Anybody have any charities they are close to and you want to raise some money??

What about holding the Eircooled swap meet at this on the sunday?

I'm easy to be fair. The Eircooled swap meet was heading towards the last week of September / first week of October anyhow so is there any point on holding two so close together? An indoor venue would be great for the swap meet, eliminate all weather woes. I'd be happy enough to maybe try for another swap meet in Galway sometime in Feb / March next year when shows are thin on the ground? What do people think?

I love the idea of this weekend. Totally up for it only a friend mentioned she might be havin her bday party that weekend. I'll just have to persuade her not too, hehehe! Anyway, charity. Heres an idea, since were havin it in an equestrian centre, and since the recession horses have been abandoned and left for dead all over Ireland as a result, why dont we raise money for the ISPCA? Money is usually raised for Human Charities, which are fantastic charities, but maybe an animal charity would be good for a change?
