It was a great day. Mary has to be thanked for a super venue and the food was YUMMY Well done Mary.

The committee do a great job and this was seen today as they discussed what they have done in 2008 and their plans for 2009. They give up a lot of their valuable spare time and I would like to thank them very much for all their hard work, without which this the club would be no more.

I forgot to say today when we were talking about events for 2009 that I was thinking of having a club BBQ in my place some Saturday or Sunday during the summer if people would be interested.
Any dates in particular suit people? The weekend of June 6th doesn't suit me and I might go to the European Bug In 3-5 July........if you want to have the BBQ on those dates I can give you the alarm code but I'd prefer to be there

We had a great AGM
Thanks to all who turned up
special thanks to Britt who traveled the furtherest followed by Teresa

Parking in Roscommon was a bit tight so we were scattered around the square
25 people attended we had a banter around the cars then went up to the function room (thanks Mary)
Had Part 1 of our meeting
Then went for a lovely meal (which the club paid for)
After this we went back and had part 2 of meeting
There was lots of different points of view aired and everyone had an opporunity to have their say with whats going on in the club.

Some people went home but about 10 of us went back to Ruairi's house for a couple of hours.
