Below mapped the route each day with the sights and the number of kilometers driven from one place to the next night.
ROUTE DAILY
Friday May 29: Around 17:30 am departure with DFDS from IJmuiden to Newcastle.
Saturday May 30: Arrival around 9:00 pm (GMT) in Newcastle and drive 265 km along the Hadrian's Wall and the south of Scotland to Straenraer where we overnight.
Sunday May 31: The one day early !! The ferry leaves at 7.30 Peno Cairnryan and takes us 2 hours to Larne in Northern Ireland, where the journey of 80 km. begins. We drive the Atlantic Drive and pass places like Cushendun and Ballycastle, Glenariff forest park, the Carrick a Rede and Giant`s Causeway with its basalt and Rathlin Island for bird watchers. Near Bushmills we have 2 nights.
Monday June 1: Not to fill in for example a visit to Dunluce Castle, Bushmill`s Distillery, Londonderry, walk along the Giant`s Causeway..
Tuesday June 2: This day we drive 175 km. to Donegal, we get along the rugged coast of North Donegal with ao Inishowen and Malin Head, the poorhouse in Dunfanaghy, Horn Head, the desolate peat area in Bloody Foreland, The Rosses, a really old piece of Ireland where Gaelic is still spoken.
We stay 2 nights in Donegal.
Wednesday June 3: Not to fill in eg a scenic drive to Errigal Mountain and the Poisoned Glen and through the deserted Derryveagh - and Glen Down mountains, or a visit to Donegal town..
Thursday June 4: This day a short but scenic drive of 100 km. by the Glengesh Pass to Glencolumbkille with a nice museum and the coastal cliffs of Malin Beg and Bunglass with its 300 meter high cliff and the highest mountain along the coast, the Sleave League, where a walk is (for the adventurous)
We spend the night near Ballyshannon.
Friday June 5: A long journey of 200 miles today, we pass graves of 4,000 yr old in Creevy Keel and Carrowmore, the beautiful Table Mountain Benbulben with a trip through the Gleniff Horseshoe, Sligo, head west along the cliffs at Downpatrick.. or by the Nephin Mountains and again a beautiful piece with beautiful cliffs Atlantic Drive on Achill Island and the sad remains of a village abandoned by famine in 1850.
We stay in Keel on Achill Island, a beautiful place near the beach and the mountains.
Saturday, 6 June: a journey of 150 km. by Mayo along Westport and the holy mountain of Croagh Patrick, the Doo Lough Pass and the lakes and mountains of Connemara and Clifden where we stay 2 nights.
Sunday June 7: fill in to buy, there are beautiful rides, between the mountains and through valleys and peat fields, along rugged coastlines and visit Kylemore Abbey.
Monday June 8: We leave Connemara for a 150 km drive. to Doolin, which also leaves the ferry to the Aran Islands, visit the flamboyant and musical Galway city with its street theater and colorful facades and wonder if you're among the bare stone hills of the Burren drive and stop further along the coast to the opzwiepende water look. Near Doolin we stay one night.
June 9: Today we drive 135 miles. and pass the Cliffs of Moher, the 200m high cliffs are a feast for the eyes, a walk on narrow paths along the cliffs is a must. Further along the coast, with the ferry across the Shannon to Killarney, where we stay 5 nights.
Wednesday, June 10 t / m Saturday, June 13: In this beautiful area with its mountains and lakes to make a variety of scenic walks and rides such as the Ring of Kerry, Dingle Peninsula and Bearra, the Gap of Dunloe, Killarney town too to name and something for everyone.
Sunday, June 14: A journey of 130 km. brings us to the interior through beautiful roads and pass through the Knock Meadow mountains to the Rock of Cashel, a beautiful cathedral on a hill and Cahir with a nice castle and where we stay near one night (the site is in an apple orchard, where they sell delicious juice).
Monday, June 15: Due to the Wicklow mountains, 180 km. to go, mostly inside, past the ancient city of Kilkenny, along green hills and valleys, ancient cemeteries with Celtic crosses and ruins of monasteries. Near Rathdrum we stay 2 nights.
Tuesday June 16: This day you can explore the Wicklow mountains, the Sally Gap, Glendalough with its round tower and cemetery, plenty to enjoy.
Wednesday, June 17: We leave the Wicklow mountains for a ride of 210 km.via Dublin, definitely worth a visit. Beyond Dublin we pass the mounds Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth and some round towers, continue through the Mourne mountains to Newcastle, where we stay one night.
Thursday, June 18: Another 90 km. in Ireland, but first you visit Belfast and a beautiful coast with small villages brings us to Larne, where we board at 16.30 and Ireland behind us. We stay in Scotland in the same place as the way there.
Friday, June 19: A quiet ride back to the boat in Newcastle, which departs at 17.30 to IJmuiden.
Saturday, June 20: At 9 am we arrive in IJmuiden and goes all weathers his way.

A nice trip with many sights and not too long trips and thus plenty of time to explore everything quietly, maybe three weeks long, but our motto is 'we have holiday', and so of course you can really consider this trip.
Always wanted to Ireland like you wanted with air cooling, but it is still not come, do not wait and go with it!
