Eirespares 17th July 2011 Monard

What a super weekend - really enjoyed it despite the weather not being on our side. A massive thanks to James & Michele for hosting another EirBQ. It takes a lot of effort on their side to ready their home for the arrival of people & VWs.................and Beag's Ducato; The Mini-Bago :D
The fact that both James & Michele are new (and VERY tired) parents makes their effort all the more special and I know I speak for all of us when I say thanks guys and well done

Saturday afternoon and people started to filter in and set up camp for the night while Mac got the BBQs fired up.

Michele brought their new son; Joshua to the Clubhouse in her carry pouch and people commented on how quiet and placid he was as he slept for most of the night........

.............unfortunately or fortunately, which ever way you look at it, Mrs. D's method of 'relaxing' a baby seemed to work :p

Again, thanks to the Macs for their hospitality. It's rapidly becoming the must do event of the year with great food, friends, craic and despite the weather people turned up. The same goes for the show too; lashing rain and driving winds and people still came along. Well done to Martin for another good show.
