For anyone interested, I am going on my own and was thinking, if anyone wants to throw their own tent into the boot of my car and tag along for the week and we can split the cost of the juice, then let me know.

ther's over 30 vehicles taking part in the full weeks run and a further 20 odd vehicles doing parts of the run ,this years gonna be a big one..

Eireball is off to a flying start ...... pics from 8pm this evening, loads more vws arriving when we were leaving including airhead & fallen.
No sign of Rez, hope you got sorted earlier Kev!

Kev should be there by now, spoke to him around 7 and he was back in Kilkenny sorting out some suspension issues, i think he was ready to leave at that stage!

Looks like a great start. I was planning to go in the beetle last night, but work called.
And I can't say no. Such a great idea. Hope it worked out well. Keep the pictures coming.

Hey rocky
thanx so much for the guided tour to the campsite!!!! we decided to take the very scenic route back to arklow via woodenbridge....20 min trip turned into 60min trip ...you gotta love sat nav on the nokia!!!!
Rez showed up at around 10!!!

No problem! .... it was easier to drive back up and let you follow than try to explain where it was!

Home via Woodenbridge is a very scenic route ... too bad it was dark!
