under pressure to have the 2nd bug right for this...she failed her maiden voyage... bit like the titanic ( wheres my souvenir pen gone....!)

at this point in time, i will only have the blue bug with me... road testing the 1303 is throwing up a few unforeseen probs....took her on a long run today and ended up stuck after dirt got through from the tank into the carb..... thats the bank holiday work sorted out!!

we will keep at her. ideally i would like to get the 2 cars to stillorgan, but realistically i am aiming to have the 1303 right for the run on the 9th......

The young fella put an almighty dent in the roof today with his football Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Jobs for tomorrow.
Try to sort out the dent.
Adjust clutch cable.
Change gearbox oil.
Replace the rear boots.
Fit some sound proofing
Refit the carpets.
Fit new latch on the bonnet.


Wash and polish

Gonna stay over in my brothers house saturday night, it's only 2 minutes away from the spawell.
Hopefully i will get everything on the bug tomorrow, took it out yesterday for a spin, 1st run since i changed the cable couldn't get 1st or reverse after about an hrs driving, so slight ajustment required.
