I may not be able to take my beetle to this. The stupid thing won't start. The starter motor is doing nothing. I have the battery on charge and Im going to have a look at the wiring in more detail now. Fingers crossed.

It started fine once I gave the battery a quick charge. The earth connection seemed a bit loose when I undid it so that might have been part of the problem. I drove it for a while today and its going fine so I'll be at the meeting in it. I'm going out to tip it on its side now to get all the rubbish out.
