The guy only bought it a few weeks ago so I guess when he began stripping it back he started to uncover lots and lots of lovely rust thus causing a pooping reaction in his pantaloons and the car went back up for sale

is it just me or does the engine bay look like it has a bit more than 1000 miles done? It just looks a bit battered compared to the rest. If it really only has 1000 miles it should never have had its oil/fan belt changed and the engine bay would be pristine...
still though, tidy beetle.
