I knew about that one a few weeks ago. The owner is on classic-audi.co.uk and I was trying to get a few bits off it as he was hinting he was breaking it. Lo and behold he's selling it whole. He's right too, doesn't look beyond redemption...
Not really...still on UK plates. VRT will need to be paid and with the type of engine currently in that there will be no CO2 figures available as far as I am aware....meaning 36% VRT rate and even worse....HIGHEST Tax band!
Not really a bargain now is it.
Its not often you see this in a buggy ad but when you think about it its the ultimate selling point (if you have a handy bog and a shitload of turf (as it were)):
"Hitch great yoke in the bog with a small trailer"
That's identical to the one I owned many years ago. Mine was an auto though but I really liked that Tangerine color.

I had a guy in the other day from a Main Vw dealership asking me if I had "any of those old volkswagen van shells that i wanted rid of" that he didn't mind about the engine, and he'd get "the lads" to paint it !
He was going to put it on the showroom floor, I literally laughed, and repeated "want rid of"
Heard it all now! Shur shit he would be only doin ya a favour takin it out of your way!
