Seriously though, is it a '68? The headlining looks to be the short type which would say it's a 70's standard or base model Beetle? They have nice frameless popout rear windows which are cool and it has one piece windows so money has been spent on it. Belts in the back are a nice touch too.

Yeah, pre-'71 is right but those vents are often welded closed too which isn't a bad thing because they're only rust traps.
