I would imagine Naas wouldnt suit Brian as he heads west on a Friday!

I can't get to Naas on a Sunday as I'm in Mayo at the weekends.

I'll be at the Jumpsstart meeting in Limerick on Sunday so why don't we have the AGM them in the Cafe or in the pub beside the karting track on the N69 as most of the people who will go to the AGM are going to be at the meeting this sunday. There are 20 names on the list already and you won't get more than 30 at the agm anyway.

If you want to have it in Naas I don't mind as long some one collects the membership fees and organise a committee for organising events etc.

Can't do Limerick. Was all set for 3rd.

And there's the main problem! It dosen't matter where you have the AGM, What time of year its on or how much notice you give, it will never suit 100% of the club or even 50% of members. The meeting on Sunday is going to have nearly 50% of the active club member at it so in my opinion its the best place and time for it. But thats only my opinion. The same 50% wanted the AGM moved to Feb or March, its now February and we are having a big meeting on Sunday so its a perfect time. Nobody has responded to Ruairi's offer of his place in Naas and as its only 10 days away now to the 3rd of March and 7 days after the meeting in Limerick, so will anybody be interestd in a second meeting a week later? If there is go for it I'm not saying it shouldn't happen.

Limerick sounds good.

Not every venue will suit everyone and I do like Ruari's place but may not suit people in Galway but,

Brian can't make it and who wants to collect membership? and it only gives Ruari two weeks to organise.

It's too short notice for this weekend.
I agree though, it's alot to now expect a similar number to make their way to Naas 2 weeks in a row.
I'm going to suggest 10th March for the AGM right now. (2 weeks time)
I've just spoken to Ruari and he's available to host it then. I'll start a new thread shortly unless there's serious complaints. As Brian said, you'll never please 100% of the club.

This years AGM has been a complete mess (partly my own doing, sorry) so it's something we need to talk about.

I suggest having it on the 23rd of March in Sandown park. I can make that and Brian will be there to collect money (then spend it on beer).

There will be an EGM in the top bar at 1pm in Sandown Park.

Items on the Agenda:

1. Dosen't the beer taste lovely at this time of the day!
2. Are there there any nice cars here this year?
3. Does anyone know who Rez is?
4. Dosen't Coxy have a great job!

And I'll be collecting beer money.... sorry membership fees.

Well I just presumed the date of March 3rd was the agm so I'd set that aside, whether it's Naas, Portloaise or where ever. I know you can't please everyone but too short notice for this weekend.
