A friend had a fastback bonnet and bootlid in the garage although how rust free they were I didn't notice. If you're stuck I could enquire.

True. Larry has owned his blue Fasty since 1996 I think. He took it off the road in 1999 and is now ful of energy and ideas again so it was hauled out of the shed.

I'd imagine an early '60s example would be ultra rare, they never sold in the volumes the beetle did and they rotted away just the same...
