I highly recommend gloves, broke out the welder the other day but didn't really notice the temperature dropping(working outside),few burns I didn't even feel..although that could be a good thing

I was down with BOC off the Long Mile Road yesterday Ross and they've small bottles of gas for sale, you don't need
an account or a contract - the bigger bottles you would need an account.

What dollar
Don't quote me but I think he was saying around the €100 mark, which I though was a bit pricey but the two gas bottles
we got refilled were €70 so probaly not too bad.
The only thing is if your doing a proper project you would need a large bottle.
About 7mins of constant welding depending on flow rate. They sell these because most people doing hobby work only spot/plug weld so get abit of time out of them. This all depends on application really. If your going to use anymore than 2 half size rent free cylinders a year your better off with the full size BOC job as it will work out better for you.Disposable bottles last minutes. Waste of time.
Im no expert, in fact Im a welding novice, but i recently got one of these which seems to go ok:
