I would love to make an offer, but herself said I would have to sell the beetle. Can't have both.
I know who the seller is...no problem there.
But you probably know more about that car than I do.........so how many years has the chap owned it, and what welding has been done if any.
I,d like to see it up close, if its as good as it says, but its too far for me to travel, on an unknown errand.
As it stands, my recollection of that car is a bit hazy, as i have seen pics of it a few years ago before the present owner, and was wondering if it had any major work done since??
Dudes, cut up the fasty, No way....ill just put her to the back of the shed...lol....she is what she is....a genuine wee ratty, cheap fasty, she has lots of love to give and not at the cutting stage...ill take some pics and show the worst bits....I really would not want anyone to travel without knowing the truth.... and I have nowt to hide...
I have spent my entire life collecting wagens and nothing worse than travelling to view a car thats not as described.....I love her dearly but just have too many wagens on the go at the minute and am trying to clear some time and space to work on the ones which need some time spent on them.......i know as soon as she goes i will be sorry but jsut too many....
current collection includes....Corrado, Mk1 Golf convertible, Mk2 Golf, 1303, 1302S, 1600 GT, 1300, T25 Single Cab, T25 Twin Slider, T25 High Top, Splitscreen Bus, Fastback, W123, BSA, MG Magnette, B3 Passat...lol......Brother has same problem, Scirrocco, Santana, Mk2 x3...add another W123 to that and a spitfire and you can see where the problem lies.....lol....
On the plus side, the Mk1 Jetta went to Skibereen.....so thats one I dont have to worry about...lol...

Paul you know if I had the coin and a motor shifted I'd buy the fasty fella it's just a good wee honest car that's not hiding anything horrible
