Ye, great pics coxy! I didn't really gettin chattin to many members coz I dont recognise too many yet, hopefully by the next eirespares event in monard I might be better :sorry:
But it was great craic. The cars lookin very good, especially the silver merc sl300. It looked like the gullwing! Anyway, after all my talk of toffee pops, I hadn't any with me at the show, so Liam, dont worry, I'll be bringin a full picnic off stuff for the run in Monard this year!!!
No way, was this a real Gullwing?! One of my ultimate favourites, anyone know the owner and if he/she is in need of another kidney...drool, drool, drool, drool, drool, maahuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, drool, drool...
looked the proper job to me. I'd donate your kidney for it too Padraig
It was an absolute stunner. It would look rather tasty beside your 356
I only got to drive 1 300 SL Gullwing in my younger days and it felt a bit heavy around town and to about 60 mph. All hell broke loose when you stabbed it at 60 though, totally different car, it felt light on it's feet and the steering was nimble. It was one of my favorite high speed touring cars, and what a lovely engine note at full stride. Huge sills though but once inside very snug.

I wonder if this gullwing owner needs a wife?:lol2:
Maybe "she" does need a wife, it's 2009 anything goes !!!
Hey, take a chance! You never know, you might like it And then you'll have a nice new friend AND a Gullwing
