Will hold you to that Alice, and I know Coxy is now interested in the "Toffee Pops" also, whatever meaning you might take out of it :ROFLMAO:

It was an absolute stunner. It would look rather tasty beside your 356 (y)

I only got to drive 1 300 SL Gullwing in my younger days and it felt a bit heavy around town and to about 60 mph. All hell broke loose when you stabbed it at 60 though, totally different car, it felt light on it's feet and the steering was nimble. It was one of my favorite high speed touring cars, and what a lovely engine note at full stride. Huge sills though but once inside very snug.

That's funny, I was thinking the same thing ;) :D Alhough, I'd probably move the wife and kids to the garage and keep the SL in the house...

I'd give anything to get a chance to test drive one of these. I've read that they're a bit of a handful alright due to vague suspension but that they come alive if you push it on a bit. I think I'd be happy just to sit there looking at it all day..!

There's a red one around Galway (that I haven't spotted out yet) but I expected that it was the only one in the country - it's amazing what is tucked away in private garages around this country. There's a genuine Porsche 550 Spyder in West Cork, bit dusty but its all there...;)

Hey, take a chance! You never know, you might like it ;) And then you'll have a nice new friend AND a Gullwing :D

You've got what seems like a fair point in the male mind, hehe, but this time i think I'll pass. Times aren't bad that I'd consider battin for the other team :ROFLMAO:
