Or I have two beetle inertia reel seatbelts but no receivers for them. If you're bothered, the latches and receivers from the Renault belts can be transferred to the beetle belts. I did the same on my own bug when fitting Ford Escort belts to it...
VW belts: €20 as is or €50 if adapted to use the Renault latches and receivers and you still get the Renault lap belt thrown in

Trev, do you have some original wing beading?looking for really good air vents for behind the back side windows, the one's with chrome.Nos. if possible.
I have some wing beading but I don't know if it's original. How can you tell?
I put a pair of the chrome trim side air vents on the yellow bug before Phil bought it, There's another pair here but some of the louvers inside them are broken. No use so.
let me know about the wing beading and I'll check it out.
Colm, the problem is if you're afraid to let the stuff go.
I realise I have a lot of stuff but thankfully most of it is fairly tidily stored and a lot of it gets used up on the various projects. Those folk on TV keep tons of manky household rubbish in their houses and piss in bottles and keep that too. Now that's just f**ked up... :

the original wing beading has more of a shine to it,the copyed one's are duller, just need enough for one coner.
I have the chrome edge air vents from trevs old yeloow beetle -- let me know if they are of any use to you.
That would be great, let me no what you find I'm interested in them.In black I presume? I have a couple of strips, I'll dig them out and see what kind of shape they're in. Shininess is kind of subjective though

Do you have part behind the head lamps to hold the bulbs in?
is it like a big nut or a wire spring clip? I'll take a look. I gave away a pair of headlamps recently so my stock of lamp spares might be depleted!!
