I think I suggested this a while back - we have used P&O before and also another company - is it Norfolkline perhaps? It is like a truckers ferry - free grub and you must get a cabin which is sound - they have very cheap day crossings but it is quite long and boring - look out for special offers on nught crossings though - they do come up from time to time :)

Would be a good idea to go this way methinks!!!!!

Hi everybody -

If you are intending going to Vanfest this year with eircooled could you please let me know as soon as possible :)

I have been in touch with the manager of club camping for the show and he has reserved a club pitch for us.

I have to tell him the numbers going and pay before the end of JULY.

So....please let me know who is going and get the money to me in the next month.

The cost is ......£30 stg per person for the weekend - that includes camping and attending the show and it includes a reduction for advanced booking :)

Best way to pay me is sterling notes   but if you like you can give me euros if you give me plenty

Anyway,

get in touch please 8)

Vanfest Ferry - Special Offer until Next Tuesday

Vanfest Ferry - Special Offer until Next Tuesday

If anyone is interested in travelling to Vanfest as a group then Clare, Tom, Edel and I have all booked the following ferry...

Norfolk Line
Depart Dublin 06/09/2007 22:00 (Thursday Night)
Depart Liverpool 09/09/2007 22:00 (Sunday Night)

Cost €424 euro including cabin, breakfast, fuel, and credit card surcharge. Use offer code SUMMER SAIL. I booked as a car and said the following in the special instructions...

"My vehicle is an old camper van and is only 2.1 meters high and smaller than a family car in length and width so I have registered it as a car here. Thanks"

This crossing allows us to "sail and sleep" and not lose any time. The regular cost is almost €600 and you have to book this before the 31st July (next Tuesday). Let us know if ye book it.
