Whats the plan for food PJ?

When I rang the Castle the woman said that the Monks Kitchen is open from 12 on Sundays, I think it's a buffet. I think the food costs anything from a few euro up to about €20 each depending on what you are getting. I will contact the castle again before the meet anyway because they want a rough idea of numbers ect.

I contacted Kinnitty Castle. The date has been confirmed as Sunday 17 April. We will meet at the Midway in Portlaoise to be leaving Portlaoise for 10.30 sharp. Then we will head accross the mountain to Kinnitty. The Monks Kitchen is open in Kinnitty Castle from 12 o'clock so we can get something to eat and we can get a few photos in front of the castle before heading back accross the mountain again and back to the motorway and we can all go our seperate ways.

I was talking to the manager in Kinnitty Castle today. I have booked food for 25 people give or take 3 or 4 in the Monks Kitchen. The food is €19.95 each. They are leaving the front of the castle clear so we can take photos.

It takes about an hour to get from Portlaoise to the Castle (going slow) so at the at latest we would want to be leaving the Midway in Portlaoise for about 10:45am to be there for 12.
