Im thinking of doing this in the 67, I'll find a link and try explain it better later!

Its a regularity run in vintage cars, you'll need a driver and a navigator and youve to follow a route and if you go wrong you get penalised, you also get timed on certain sections and the quicker or longer you do it in you get penalised! theres an observation section to and trophees for different classes!!!

Its good crack but competitors take it seroiusly at the top end!!!

Okay so the start is in Castleknock and the route heads to Dunshaughlin for lunch and the returns to Castleknock for finish/prize giving!!

I got a phone call to night from an LMC official to see if I was going on this, I told him I had it advertised here and asked him about pre entries!

He told me there is no problem and that its okay to arrive and enter on the day! Just be a little early!

If anyone needs any info his number is 086 8928685 and ask for Mark!

Its actually very good crack, surprised they dont get better numbers considering how many classics are in the country, perhaps they dont advertise it well or perhaps people dont like driving their cars??!!!?

I did it 2years ago in the oval! Lots of pre war cars in it that day!!!

We headed off on this today and had a really super day.It was really well organised and the weather was especially kind to us. Valerie drove and I read the notes.
Didn't take many photos as not having a tripmeter meant a lot of addition to be done and my mental arithmetic is not what it used to be. Maybe they don't call it that anymore.
We had a successful day by winning first in our class, not everyday you get to beat Escort RS2000's.Valerie was best Lady driver and we got best dressed couple as well.
