56th Veteran, Vintage and Classic Car Run

The 56th Leinster Veteran, Vintage and Classic Car Run will be a 1 day event, starting
at Brady’s, Castleknock Inn, Castleknock, Dublin, 15.
We will be driving through County Dublin and County Meath and there will be a
short stop for refreshments en route.
The event will consist of a variety of free driving, timed sections and observation
questions.
Competitors are encouraged to take out their pre-war cars for the event. There will
be a prize for the best period costume – so use your imagination!
The course will be between 70 miles and 90 miles approx.
START:
Cars will assemble in Brady’s, Castleknock Inn car park on Sunday 23rd May at
10.00 a.m. where scrutiny will be carried out and final instructions issued. Cars will
depart at 11.00 a.m.
REFRESHMENTS:
There will be a short stop for refreshments at The Country Club, Dunshaughlin, Co.
Meath. Refreshments may be purchased in the bar.
FINISH/PRIZE GIVING:
We will return to Brady’s, Castleknock Inn, for the finish and prize-giving.

Best Concours Auto Electric Cup
Best Model T Ford Simpson Trophy
Best Pre 1945 Briggs & McCrae Cup
ENTRY FEE: € 30.00
All winners of any of the above trophies will be presented with a replica.
The judging of cars in the Concours is by Entrant’s Voting Card, which is to be
handed in at the finish control. The Best Dressed Lady, the Best Dressed Gent and
the Best Dressed Couple will be judged by L.M.C. appointed judges.
A prize will be awarded to the competitor with the best Observation Test result. A
Finishers’ Plaque will be presented to every competitor at the finish control.
NO competitor may win more than one award.
Please note that all cups and trophies listed are Perpetual and remain the property of
Leinster Motor Club Ltd. Trophies must be signed for and insured while in the
possession of the winner of the trophy. Trophies must be returned to the club 10
months after the current event.
