LIMERICK VW SHOW 2014

Celebrating the 22nd year of the show !
This year's show is being held in association with RetroClassics magazine & we are delighted to again have sponsorship from Volkswagen Group Ireland

When ? Sunday May 25 2014 ( weekend BEFORE June bank holiday weekend ) 10.00 am onwards

Where ? ** SAME LOCATION AS LAST YEAR **

LIMERICK RACECOURSE
( a few miles from Limerick city , near Patrickswell )
located at exit 4 M20
GPS: N 52.59045 W 008.69632


All VAG vehicles welcome , VW , Audi , Seat , Skoda & Porsche...

Entry fee per car still only 5 euro (includes all passengers) & as usual no pre-entry required
Rez from eircooled has kindly agreed to provide tunes
As usual , lots of other classic cars to see if anyone tires of 100 's of VWs....
New attractions for 2014 include ;

- an Aerobatic Display ,

- stalls from the Autojumble Club of Ireland where you might find that elusive part

- Road Safety Authority Shuttle & Rollover Simulator ( great fun ! ).

Thanks to all those who have supported this show over the years & hopefully the sun will once again shine in 2014

As usual the LCVCC will be making donations to charities from the event proceeds

Couple of updates ;


The RSA shuttle bus simulator will be at the Limerick Show , might be useful for those wanting to upskill for the
Aircooled Drag day # 2


It's free too !


There will also be a heavy duty Bouncy Castle for kids of ALL ages .....

Hopefully some useful information

Around 800 vehicles attended Limerick Show in 2013 ,so to reduce queuing
there will be 3 Entrances to the show this year ,ALL will be signed .
This should make for quicker access .
ALL vehicles will use the same Exit , ie (1) after the show.

Package of 500 VW window stickers just arrived from CM signs in Thurles.
Thanks to Gritz ( Brian )& Beag ( Graham ) who did them for a good price

A lot of cars seem to arrive between 10.30 - 11.30 , so maybe before 10.30 might be a good idea.
This year as there are THREE entrances ,entry to the show should be quicker.
