LIMERICK VW SHOW 2014 , Sunday May 25th

Thanks from the Limerick Classic Car Club to everyone who supported the 22nd Limerick Show .

There was a huge turnout of VWs from all over Ireland despite the weather ,which
made the voluntary efforts of the organisers & helpers worthwhile.

We celebrated the 40th anniversary of the legendary MK 1 Golf & just over 60 of them turned up

Gerry Humphreys assisted by son Harry gave an outstanding aerobatic display .
Philip & Anthony put on a motorbike skills demonstration.

Once again Rez provided brilliant tunes which created a great atmosphere.

Thanks to Volkswagen Group Ireland & Retro Classics magazine who were the main sponsors & also to
Hinchys Opel , Lyons of Limerick & Leonards .

The LCVCC will be making a donation to the Limerick Marine Search & Rescue following the success of the show.

An idea for next years show would be park the eircooled stuff as you enter the arena were the rat look flat bed bay was parked as it is level ground and would be nicer than having them all cluttered in corner

Totally Agree. The aircooled stuff was just shoved over in the corner yet again
