convoy to hessisch from belgium mid june

well i think thats enough from the town of Hessich and the campsite i have loads more .
there were just so many cool VWs to take pictures of
we also went to the Bulli Museum and managed to get into see the Grundmann collection which was one of the highlights of the trip
they have an amazing collection

Next up is the Grundmann collection .we were told that they did not mind people taking photos but that there were certain items from WW2 that they did not want to see pictures of posted on websites as there has been stories in a german newspaper basically saying that everyone who owns or drives a Volkswagen is a Nazi .and that the grundmanns were promoting Nazi ideals by collecting such items .
this story also reared its ugly head at Wolfsburg . saying that they should not be celabrating the 75 anniversary of the town or Volkswagen as it was born out of the ashes of the Nazi regime .they were to drive the longest parade of Volkswagens ever through the streets of Wolfsburg and through the factory grounds but Volkswagen pulled out at the last moment and would not let them go through the factory grounds which was a shame . still thats the power of the press .
