Might be interested in the channels. What kind of quality are they? Any better than the usual stuff? Are they complete i.e. with the bottom plates?

channels are complete with bottom plates, why anyone would buy them otherwise I can't understand! I've just put a similar pair into a bug and the quality is great. Not quite OEM quality but what is these days and can you even get OEM channels any more?
Better than the Brazilian ones in my own bug. I ended up replacing the bottom plates on the Brazilian ones in mine with a heavier thickness home-made plate after 7 years on the road.

Anyway, I'm in Co. Laois if you're interested I could probably get them to Dublin the next day I'm in James's hospital getting my finger checked.

No you can't get OEM anymore which is annoying because I won't use the ripply brazilian stuff and so I've been stuck for channels for a while. Been trying to source good used channels but after shipping they're crazy money. I'm not too bothered by year correct pressings, I'm more concerned about quality.

When will you be in Dublin at the fingertologist? I'm based in Dundalk now but am in Dublin fairly regularly. I'll be there on Mon/Tues this week.

Liam, there's a pic there of the underside of the doors, they've been repaired reasonably well (i.e. not master craftsman style) so would be fine to fill up the door-shaped holes in the sides of yer daily driver bug but to be honest if you're looking for show quality you're better off saving your €120 towards a pair of new OEM ones or good Californian ones :)

Kobat, I don't know yet, I'm waiting on them to call me back to rearrange a cancelled appointment. It'll be a friday afternoon anyway, it's the only day I can make it to them without taking time off work.

Mac, noted. ;)

alice, those bumpers mightn't fit your cabrio. I'll double check and confirm, I'm nearly sure they're "standard" bug ones.

deckie, done :)
