they're new IGP standard width wings with the lights and a bit of the lexus boot welded in, nice tidy job with a spot welder. Anyway, they would fit your 1303 and as with any standard width wings they would accomodate all sorts of wide wheels given careful offset and tyre width choice. If you're looking for wide wings I have a pair of +4" fibreglass rear wings that I probably won't use.

Thanks Trev, I didn't want to cut holes in my new door cards or put speaker up on the parcel shelf, so i've been looking for one of those old units to screw under the passenger side foot well.

have you seen the aftermarket rear shelves for beetles? I have one in my bug and you can put speakers under it, they wouldn't be seen from outside.
No matter, your name is on that pod...

I see Trev that vw heritage sell europa bumpers for 72 cabrios and I cant see the difference between them and normal europa bumpers but I could be completely wrong. Well, I could try fit them, and if they didn't fit, I could hand them onto Brosna? No doubt the meets will start up again down south, or some run that either myself or the tipp crew will be at!

if you want to try them that's fine, even if you laid a new one on top of the old one you'd see pretty soon if the curve was different. No need to hand over any cash til you're happy they fit :) Do you pass this way from Dublin to Tipp in the bug at all?

price drop on the doors, decklids and quarters. If anyone is looking for parts but they're too expensive make me an offer, I might just cave in ;)

Its funny how hard it mis to come across this kind of speaker housing,i threw out loads over the years, and when i wanted a pair last year it took me ages to find some!

I've accepted another offer on the rear quarters so they're no longer available :)

Trev.
Do you still have the bumpers available? I'm looking for front one in particular, but I,ll take both, if no one else has purchased them. My beetle is a 74 1200. I think they should do the job. John.
