trev im genuinely interested how you can tell there late doors , I know 60 was the first year of the square type push in handles , but otherwise im lost, also should the tail lights not be oval style on a 60 , although austrailian bugs had small half and half style in 60, anyway if you don't ask you'll never learn as I tell the kids?
I like this being rhd but id have to paint it , no offence meant coxy ,

The taillight changed around March 1960 but many were fitted with the bigger (safer and uglier) lights afterwards. Apparently this was frequently done while car was in for a service at the VW dealer. I have housings and lenses in excellent condition (and also a NOS set) if you are interested.
