Seller is mistaken - L reg is '72 to '73
Edit - just noticed that there's no paperwork so they probably took a wild guess...
DVLA shows it as registered on 17 Jan 1973 and tax last expired in the UK 01 Jan 1998 - it was Gold back then too. It could well be dodgy but I suppose its been over here for a good while and someone probably lost the V5 at some stage. I don't see how the duty is paid though.
Looks too rough for an economic resto - being an '03 there's probably horrors underneath....
