Please put my name in. Drove the 71 Westy to Belfast and back on Boxing Day and it went like clockwork. Found the Sweet Spot at an indicated 70 mph. Coxy please pm me some directions? Anyone coming from up north who I could convoy with?
Britt

Directions to Newport as requested:

My address:

115 Glencree
Newport
Co.Tipperary

Mobile: 086 1665577

Even though it's a Tipp address it's actually only 10 mins from the link road in Limerick. I'm only across the border.

Google Map Link: Hope this works.

The easeist way to my house is as follows:

From Dublin:
As you come into Limerick from Dublin you will hit a roundabout at the start of the motorway. Take the 1st exit signposted for Thurles and Newport. Continue out that road for 10 miles until you hit Newport. Continue through the village square and take the 1st right as you come up the hill. This is my estate, Glencree. You will see the Beetles in my driveway on the right.

From Cork, Tipperary, Waterford, Wexford, Kerry etc:
All of the above will come into Limerick on/above the motorway. Follow the signs for Dublin along the motorway. When you get to the end of the motorway, you will hit a roundabout. Take the 3rd exit signposted for Thurles and Newport. Continue out that road for 10 miles until you hit Newport. Continue through the village square and take the 1st right as you come up the hill. This is my estate, Glencree. You will see the Beetles in my driveway on the right.

From the West:
As you come into Limerick you will be on the Clare side of the city. Follow signs for Dublin through the city or by Thomond Park/King Johns Castle. Either way you will arrive on the Dublin Road passing the University of Limerick, Castletroy Park Hotel etc. As you continue out this road you will pass a village called Annacotty and then you will hit the roundabout at the bypass. Take the 2nd exit signed for Thurles and Newport. Continue out that road for 10 miles until you hit Newport. Continue through the village square and take the 1st right as you come up the hill. This is my estate, Glencree. You will see the Beetles in my driveway on the right.

If someone is having problems on the day they can call me on mobile but it's very straightforward once you get to the roundabout at the bypass - follow signs for Newport and once you come into the village you go up the hill and take the 1st right!

It's all in one. There's no real schedule as such (is there?), it's just arrive at my gaff at 2pm and we'll go from there. I don't think it's going to be toooooooooooooo formal
