Hi Guys

Just want to say a big thank you to everyone for making the 1st 'BARN, BUGS, & WAGS' such an enjoyable weekend, the turnout was fantastic, far better than we ever dreamed of. All I had to do was open up the doors and you guys came in your droves from the 4 corners of Ireland, despite the bad weather. Great to see everyone again and great to meet lots of new faces and also put a face to some of your log-on names. Congratulations to all the prize winners, I felt sorry for the Judges, Deckie, Padraic, Pat and Brian as there was such a high standard of cars and buses. Thanks to Brian and Pat for the fine hand-crafted trophies, Liam's great work with the camera, & who could forget DJ Dave and his 'Van of Tunes'. Hope everyone enjoyed themselves, we certainly did and we're already looking forward to planning next years event.

Thanks again
Jon and Jackie

Serious effort put in by all in vwspares. Definitely one to mark in next year as soon as our calendar comes out. Considering that Jon sells parts for a living it was extremely generous of him to use his place as a swapmeet for all. Unlimited use of tea/coffee was a godsend the morning after a heavy night plus we were fed TWICE from the bbq. The fact that it was an indoor show felt completely different to everything else during the year and even though the weather has gotten cold it was plenty warm sleeping in the vans in there.
Thank you Jon and Jackie. Roll on next year

Thanks Jon for a great night/weekend!

I was late as usual but was delighted to see Ben, Dave and Pooky!!! made it down, pity there where no decks but hey Caddy was on hand with some old Dub and Sak to keep me entertained to the wee hours! It was just after 4 when I crawled into bed!!! - only to have Caddy beating on the van the next morning!!! Boy did I have a sore head, but not as bad as some others!!!!

I managed to sell a few bits to cover the diesel and drank alot of tea!!! Saw fook all of the cars that arrived coz I was talking to people I hadnt seen in a while and even managed to buy parts for my T4 at the swap meet too - go figure!!!!

There was a great turn out and thanks to everyone for supporting Jon too only now that the pictures are on the web, he'll have to get a bigger shed for next year as it will only get bigger!!

Brian Lacey in the yellow T4 (a customer of Jons too and a Vagdriver type LOL) only saw my post that morning drove up from Wexford, he's a DJ and was working the night before but would defo play music at it next year!!!! As will Ben and Ross, some other guy on vagdrivers said he'd DJ only he'd already a gig that night!!! Thats the entertainment sorted too for next year!!!!
