this is unbelievable!! im really totally puzzled that noone has came up for this???!?!? theres guys selling shells alone for that money!!! keep it into new year drive it and sell before summer! guarantee you get 5k for it!! :) if i can sell the wife before then i'll take it!! in fact sell your missus and keep the car!

actually- have you any use for a fantastically good looking 38year old woman, cook/cleaner/baby maker?!? (althought that last bit is restricted to me!) lol

its a real reflection of the market i think... most people this time of year are skint anyways, then with recession and work slowing its even harder...... it would be a toss up for me between this and britts splittie

in fairness, while it is a bad time to be selling any car the advertisement for the car is incredibly bad...

i did say that earlier too.:surrender:im no expert but theres things i can see that arenteven mentioned, i think he doesnt really want to sell at all. if he edited the first post, put better photos up and a detailed desciption i think it would go no bother.

this post has nearly 1500views!!! its not sold yet??? surely you can spot a bad advert. sorry i know its none of my business but just trying to help.

As far as I see it, this car has been on the market for about 18 months or so.

It is very well known and has in fact been investigated by club members and still not purchased.

So I reckon it is just one among many cars that are available at reasonable prices in the last year or so and I would say that I think it is great that VWs are once again becoming right priced for what they are.

Classic VWs were always the reserve of entry level classic car ownership until Volkszone and the like, encouraged price hikes and interdealing that in my opinion almost ruined the scene.Suddenly everyone became a "dealer".

€3000 can give you a great choice of classics to drive and I think if it was for sale at the right price it would have been in a nice garage somewhere a long time ago.

Rant over - just getting in the Christmas spirit.
