Just a bit of advice, you can choose to ignore it if you wish
You might be better off having your existing hubs redrilled for the 4x100 pattern. Adapters tend to be 20-25mm thick to allow for the thickness of the bolts holding them to the hub and consequently you'll need wheels with a high offset (ET) figure to ensure they fit nicely under the wings. Most modern 4x100 wheels are made with an offset in the 30-35 region to suit modern cars, which happens to be a nice offset for fitting to beetles with redrilled hubs. If you fit ET35 wheels with 25mm thick adapters, you effectively reduce the offset of the wheels to ET10 (i.e. 35 - 25) which will make most wheels stick out a country mile beyond the edge of the wing... If you're intent on using adapters then look out for wheels with an offset in the ET50+ region. You won't find them too easily though...
Just make sure you do your homework before you waste any of your money. Especially important these days...![]()
