Looking for a set of steel wheels, the same as was fitted to the 1300 S - someone mentioned that they had a set for sale recently but I can't find the post....
Yep - that's the one. Marathons would be fine as well - just looking for something other than the basic wheels. Funny, I thought that it was Trev that had them but I searched and couldn't find the post. We'll see what he says - he's a bit nearer to me than Coxy.
I wouldn't do it even if it were possible - I'm happy with the '65 as it is. I'm not quite sure how the '72 will end up looking - it'll be cheap and cheerful anyway - just a runaround really
The GSR (Gelb-Scwartz-Renner or something) or the yellow & black racer. I know it's based on a 1303 but the scheme could be transferred to a torsion bar bug easily:
That looks great - thanks for the link and pic. That shade yellow is excatly what I had in mind but the car is a lighter shade than that at the moment. I was thinking along the lines of a German look, maybe even an enamel roller paint - not sure until I see the car but its definitely going to be a rolling restoration - maybe one panel each year
