you`d be better off with 36s if the motor is otherwise stock , 40s if you`re doing head work , changing the cam etc.

Not meaning to hijack this thread, but what power could you expect from a 1600, with 40DCNFs and moderate top end work. Looking for around 90-100bhp??

I'll keep my eyes & ears open for you john.

stock 1600 with twin carbs , decent exhaust and some light headwork should see 80ish bhp .1.25 ratio rockers or a cam swap would give you another 10 - 20 hp ish

Are you looking for just the linkage or do you want carbs also?
I've a brand new Bugpack linkage, still in the wrapper. One of the four seals has slipped out of the packing over time but everything else is there.

Otherwise I have a set of twin Dellortos? Think they are 45s - I'll give a check when I get a chance. They would probably need an overhaul because they sat on an engine unused for a while but otherwise should be ok.

i'm looking for the complete kit really, something fairly newish, don't want to be messing around too much with them. i can get a new empi 40 hpmx in the states for bout 450 euro but i thought i'd just check to see it any one had a newish kit local first. i would also have to stick to 40's also. but hey, thanks a million for your reply.

I'd be cautious about the EMPI kit, early ones were very poor castings and a nightmare to set up - I think it's sorted now but still a gamble.
