looks like you all had a blast and congrats on the awards, i see a fair bit of bitching and moaning r.e the bmx's and other stuff, as far as im concerned it all goes hand in hand, and always has, middle aged blokes on shit bikes has always been a side show!!! But if your into bmx, what a coup getting bob haro over, i hope those of you who were into bikes met him. Going from the pics and breif write ups, it looked like a cracker of a show, good job everyone :D

One of the highlights for me was the trip to the airport........not just because I'd finished work but because it was a fun trip!

Wayne rang me to say that his mate's mate would be passing Heathrow in his Bus on his way home and would give us a lift to Departures but he was leaving straight after the show. My flight wasn't until 9 and Wayne's was at 10 but we thought we'd take the lift and get there early.
What Wayne didn't tell me was that the Late Bay Westy we were going in had a 3.2ltr 911 motor out the back with a 5 speed 911 'box. Hubba Hubba, this thing could move. Definite highlight of the weekend for me was when he gunned it......the noise, the speed and the looks on peoples faces when this ordinary looking camper shot by :D

Never took one but if you look at a photo of a late Bay Westy and blur your eyes and that's how other motorists saw us flying past.
