Fantastic to see a great list coming along the the festival, it launched last night and there is a great buzz around Tramore.

So last years someone mentioned speed bumps - to get to your display location which is directly in front of T Bay Surf Centre (without any speed bumps)

As you enter Tramore go through the roundabout with the boat on it and and follow straight on past the Majestic hotel on your RHS, then at the next mini roundabout take the first exit and drive along Strand Road entering a roundabout and again take the first exit onto the Promenade - once you get to the end of the Prom your display area is right in front of you - it will be cordoned off and someone in a highVis will let you through.
If you're staying at FitzMaurices park to avoid speed bumps - Once you enter Tramore at the roundabout with the boat on it - take the first exit off this roundabout - then take an immediate right onto a pot holed road.. (might be worse than speed bumps!! ) once you get to the end of this road (about 500m) Fitzmaurices is directly across the road in front of you. From this campsite you can access your display area for the festival by a very short spin to the left but there are two speed bumps on that course so you might be best to go back up to the roundabout with the boat on it and go from there.
The festival programme is here... http://www.surfandseafestival.com/
There is a huge amount on so we hope you all enjoy and have a great festival weekend...

Sorry lads i'm out. Just finished working on the car for tomorrow, adjusted the brakes and handbrake, went to fit the rear wheel and discovered that 3 bolts had stripped the threads not only on the bolts themselves but also the hub, can't belive it, i was looking forward to the trip over tomorrow, so i am on the lookout for a replacement, if anyone has a spare one that is close to me and i could buy it from them, which would save me ordering one.

I have studs but no hub, sorry.
I have the front hub taken off the '53 at the mo. If it fits you can borrow it. Let me know a.s.a.p. as heading to Cork in an hour or so.
Look like it won't do though?

Or if you're really desperate, there's the '66 parked round the side of the house. By all means, call out and take the rear hub. No rush in returning it either. We're heading out to a wedding afters so I wouldn't be much help to you. Ring me on 087 2290716 for directions if you choose this route.

Thanks for the offer Kieran, The hub is 250mm in diameter, and the bolts are standard enough M12x1.5cm,thread is 11mm long, just having a quick look on line and it's showing rear hubs as 205mm in size. Thanks again.

I had issues fitting a new engine in my van on Saturday and didn't make it. However it seems like it was a complete washout with very few VW's showing up, most festival events canceled and traders heading home early. Pity.
I did get a mini convoy in this evening from Kilkenny to Limerick with Podsy and the Dollerys. Lots of laughs as usual.
