had a nice '68 model Fairlane coupe in the yard a couple of weeks back, belinging to a friend of a friend. They were down to repair the tailpipe which had fallen off after a previous bad repair. Lovely rust-free car in a nice colour.
I could definitely go for this, and for less than a grand as well! I just might!

The two days of the year that you actually get to drive the thing will
almost make up for all the heartbreak caused by it. Almost.
No such thing as a bargain alfa!
I'm driving a 12yr old car as my daily so there's not much hope of me upgrading anytime soon so the Alfa is just one of many cars on the wish list.
You're much better off with an old German car.
