Guys this is really shaping up to be a great weekend. Thanks all in eircooled who have already bought tickets and many who have PMed and coming. There is such a buzz about this, the craic is mighty. Tickets are selling really well and we would love they were sold out before going to the general public.
I really think we are on the cusp of a new wave of emerald isle aircooled alliances and partnerships. Often I look at the 'BIG' shows in UK and Europe and feel envious. But more and more, I feel we should all get together and make new never been done before happenings in Ireland, make friends, drive our dubs and make memories for life, using the best of our Irish sensibilities - amazing scenery, people and craic.
JumpStart is a focal point of it all, bringing people together in the most relaxed and non ego way. Just park up, chat and meet folks and enjoy. We hope the day in Donard Park before the movie will have the same vibe. Us from NBOC felt so welcomed and just cant wait to extend the same welcome to everyone else.
Tickets are £20 - every penny going into the movie and what is left is flying DAve Manning over. The ticket price is per vehicle (up to 5 people) and includes:
The Mourne Coastal Cruise all the way to Donard Park (breath-taking scenery - that's why they film Game of Thrones there)
The Movie
After Show Party in the Anchor Bar with a live band
Lazy Sunday with the Dave Manning experience.
The energy and positivity about this up here is something else. Be part of it.
See my previous post for accommodation options.
We are so close to confirming camping in an enclosed area of Donard Park from the council. We cant promise this just yet, as councils take forever and hopefully will sign it off early next week. As soon as they do we will let you all know. This is so that folks can park their vans and be near the Anchor Bar after party, the Lazy Sunday Dave Manning experience and all Newcastle has to offer. There are plenty of flat car parks that motor homes unofficailly pitch up at any way - but ideally we want an enclosed and safe area in the park. Will keep you all updated. Working hard for you all.
Google Newcastle and the Mournes - paradise on earth. The Movie site itself is stunning, flanked by sea and the Mournes.
