Portlaoise Breakfast Roll

Just in the door. A great day. Forgot my camera as usual and I could have made a little video of it.
We met at the Midway at 10. We had a good turnout 5 Beetles and a Bus plus a couple of lads in their modern cars. There were other vintage cars at the hotel as they were on there way to a rally in Cork. Including a Morris Minor with a Rover V8 engine. We had a bite to eat. Then we headed off, lost a couple of the lads at the first roundabout but luckily got back together again quickly enough. We went out through Ballyfin and headed for the Slieve Blooms. Stopped off in Monicknew for a few pictures on the way. Had another photo shoot at The Cut Hopefully we might even have a picture for the 2011 callendar. Then headed back to the Motorway via Mountrath and took our seperate ways.

Had a great day thanks lads and it was good to put faces to the names,and then real names to the names lol.Cracking weather and a good route aswell PJ.Also thanks to trev for letting me sponge a lift

That would be Damo in the Moggy, the guy I get to help me with all electrical worries! If you every need a loom made from scratch for your beetle then that is the guy to get! The group was the IKCC guys heading down to Cork for the weekend for a tour with a stop at the Innishannon Vintage Steam & Rally show on Sunday.
The photos look cool, although I'm not sure I would of park the beetle next to edge...you never know when those beetle brakes suddenly decide to give-up!!!

Given the amount of lads wandering around Ireland with cans of paint, its amazing that no-one's added to that...
Don't worry we'll get back to it on our next trip. Paint in bright green "EIRCOOLED WAS ERE 2010"
