I've never seen the ladies leaning out of their booths shouting after people like they did for you!!!! ............and then they gave out to me in your absence :D

That was a reaction to the petrol fumes.....

As Mikey said, this was a great show and we were both glad we made the effort to get up early and hit for the border! It was a long day but well worth it. The venue is amazing and we didn't realise that they have glamping pods as well as a full campsite there so maybe next year we could look at getting some more Eircoolers on board? .........and with the pods, you don''t have to have a camper to stay the night before (y)

A few pics I took on the day.

This was the coolest thing I'd seen at a show in ages. Barking mad but serious attitude................it was doing a wee on the ground so lost some of its visual impact then :D

Paul Clarke's Porsche is fab. Mostly OG paint, bar the bonnet I think and the cleanest I've ever seen underneath.

What a great day we had. Delighted to welcome Coxy and Mikey along. We were thrilled with the turn out, biggest number we've had in years and even more so the smiles and atmosphere all day. Lough Neagh looked like Lake Como in the sunshine! Great seeing you guys make use of the legendary Discovery Centre carvery! Congrats to Robert Dunlop for winning People's Aircooled Bus, Richard Moore for People's Aircooled Car, Martin Neal for People's Aircooled Bug and Brendan Convery for People's Watercooled Car. Indeed, there's a proper campsite including glamping pods as well onsite. Book next year and make a weekend of it.

Between a few local trips and the drive to and from Oxo I did about 600 miles since last Thursday in my '75 1200 and it didn't miss a beat. The clock just clicked onto 47k from new so there's plenty more miles left in it...................nothing nice than a sunny cruise in a VW that doesn't break down - a major novelty for me :D
Oxo was a great show and myself and the Lawless boy would deffo recommend you hit for Oxo next year. It's only a few hours away and there are some amazing VWs that you probably have never seen before. The facilities are excellent so you can bring your camper or another VW and sleep in either a tent or glamping pods.
