This is my 83 mk1 golf
Ex bradys garage

About 4 years ago trev brought this beauty back to life
The brakes got a complete rebuild including all flexi lines discs cylinders caliper pads and shoes
Wishbones ball joints and all bushings replaced including new adjustable suspension
And a 1.9d (1y) engine with a 5 speedbox all from a 97 seat toledo

I drove this car daily for 2 and a half years. Up to a few months ago.
100% reliable.
Loads of power with 70mpg
Car is still driving perfect

i have all the missing letters for the regs.

this car is hiding nothing ya can see all scabs etc.

wheels are wolfrace brand 185/60/15

could do with a t-cut and a polish. :)

Looking for €1995 ono

of all the auld donkeys I've been through, this is one of the favourites.

Definitely the most "usable" of them all: great MPG, enough "go" to have fun with, towbar came in useful on plenty of occasions. Super reliable, low maintenance, cheap parts, four doors, hatchback/ I could go on.
