Steampunk is a sub-genre of fantasy and speculative fiction that came into prominence in the 1980s and early 1990s. I've amassed quite a collection of odd brass/crystal/ss door knobs that've been sent into the studio as samples. I always wanted to use them in a car but could never think how...it seems so obvious now
You can have one for the other door if you like!
It also refers to a retro style where old victorian looking parts and designs are used.
